Every calculator here works on the same principle: the menu price is the start of the sum, not the end. Each one adds the lines that actually appear on a receipt — required add-ons, sales tax, gratuity, and where relevant the enrolment fees and minimum terms attached to a membership.
Two of them answer questions that are almost impossible to judge by instinct: whether a monthly plan beats paying per visit, and what a maintained service costs across a full year rather than a single appointment.

What calculators cannot tell you
A calculator handles arithmetic, not judgement. Three things still need a phone call:
- Whether the quote covers the same scope. Two salons quoting the same number may include entirely different work under one service name.
- What is treated as mandatory. Some finishes are quoted separately but are not genuinely optional once the service has started.
- The contract terms behind a membership. Minimum terms, freeze rules and cancellation notice change the true cost far more than the headline monthly figure.
